Citibank Adds Functionality to Structured Finance Web Site

Citibank has enhanced its Web site for structured finance investors and clients to provide batch downloading of deal documents and reports, secure access to private deal information and personalized aggregation of existing deals.

The site (www.sf.citidirect.com) also now allows issuers to securely post their deal-specific servicing reports to Citibank.

"These unique enhancements not only improve our clients' ability to access and download detailed, comprehensive deal information, but also allow them to create a portfolio of their own deals in the format of their choice," according to Jeffrey Volk, managing director and head of Citibank Agency and Trust. "These enhancements exemplify our strategic focus on leveraging the Internet to make it easier for clients to do business with us, which is critical for our customers around the world whose complex funding requirements demand global issuance and paying agency capabilities."

The site contains detailed information on mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities, asset classes for which Citibank is either the trustee or acting in an administrative agent capacity.

Specific recent enhancements include:

My Portfolio: a personalization tool that allows users to create one portfolio of all their deals.

Batch download: provides a wide selection of documentation, including the prospectus, offering circular, certificate holders statements, and loan-level data, which can be downloaded from one screen with one click.

Private deal access: authorizes users to gain access to view appropriate documentation related to private deals.

Report posting: allows issuers to securely transmit investor and servicer reports to Citibank.

The enhancements, which were developed in partnership with Harvest Technology Corp., a technology consulting firm, benefit Citibank's rapidly expanding customer base, Volk said. Citibank Agency and Trust's U.S. structured finance business, which was launched in mid-2001, earned a spot in the top 10 trustees in the 2001 annual asset- and mortgage-backed league rankings.
