Trade Bank of Iraq Chooses Misys Core Banking System

Trade Bank of Iraq (Baghdad), a government-owned commercial bank, has selected Misys' (London) Equation, a core banking system that will enable further integration of its branch network, including Internet banking and ATMs. TBI will also use the Misys software for its trade finance capabilities, which cover 134 prime banks in 39 countries.

The agreement includes an upgrade to the latest version of Misys' core banking system Equation, integrated with the newest version of Trade Innovation and its branch automation solution, Equation Branch Automation. The bank will implement the combined solution at its head office in Baghdad and will improve customer service and allow further integration with new banking channels, including Internet banking and ATMs.
