Schlumberger has more than tripled its U.S.-based business continuity facilities since last year, growing from 40,000 square feet to 136,000 square feet, at sites in New Jersey. Schlumberger DeXa.Ensure services are included in the company's recently introduced Enterprise Security Solutions. The DeXa.Ensure services provide 100 percent dedicated work areas and data centers, as well as access to the variety of computing infrastructure solutions of the DeXa suite of services. -

FaceTime Communications

Foster City, Calif.-based FaceTime Communications announced the availability of IM Auditor 4.0 for greater control of instant messaging (IM) to ensure proper compliance with the latest government regulations, in addition to enhanced productivity features and integration capabilities. IM Auditor 4.0 expands on FaceTime's IM Auditor 3.0 to provide new regulatory compliance workflow capabilities, including enhanced logging, auditing, and reporting of all IM traffic for any government-regulated industry. The product additionally enhances IT ease-of-use and end-user productivity while providing seamless integration with FaceTime technology partner-enabled e-mail content scanning, archiving, natural language processors and WORM drive storage infrastructure, according to the vendor.-

Iron Mountain expanded its Digital Archives service to support compliance officers. Boston-based Iron Mountain's new Supervision Service: Monitoring of e-mail and IM communications addresses a requirement of firms subject to NASD Rule 3010 and NYSE Rule 342, which stipulate that securities firms must establish procedures to monitor electronic communications, and keep auditable records of supervisory reviews. The Supervision service provides an outsourced solution to meet these compliance requirements. SunGard Investment Management Systems, an operating group of SunGard (Wayne, Pa.), selected Sun Microsystems (Santa Clara, CA) as the implementation platform for IMpower, SunGard's global, real-time, browser-based portfolio management solution. Impower builds on SunGard's investment management systems; migrating elements of these integrated components to the J2EE platform allows deployment of an end-to-end solution on a single platform. The agreement includes use of Sun Mainframe Transaction Processing Software. -

Financial Fusion, Inc. (Concord, Mass.), is now certified on Omgeo's next-generation global STP platform, Omgeo Central Trade Manager (Omgeo CTM) with TradeForce. TradeForce is a trade connectivity and message transformation system that offers an integrated solution for the trade initiation and execution clearing and settling, and automation of matching process for electronic trades. Completing the certification and conformance testing provides Financial Fusion and Omgeo clients the ability to begin Omgeo CTM implementation. -

Sanchez Computer Associates Inc. (Malvern, Pa.) signed a co-marketing agreement to partner with eMoney Advisor Inc., a provider of wealth planning. Sanchez will offer eMoney's AdvisorPlatform, a financial planning package, in conjunction with its Sanchez Wealthware suite of products, ultimately combining the offerings into an integrated wealth management solution. Wealthware is a Web-based wealth management solution that enables financial services companies to grow their businesses and manage clients' assets through its investor management, market data management, order management, and information management capabilities for advisors and their clients, according to Sanchez. -
