Piraeus Bank Goes Live on Fiserv Universal Banking Solution

Piraeus Bank (Athens) has gone live at its Cyprus operations on the Universal Banking solution from Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv, provider of information technology services to the financial industry. The solution has gone live after an eight-month implementation period.

Because Piraeus bank is currently engaged in rapid regional expansion, it sought a universal banking solution. With the Fiserv solution now implemented at its Cyprus operations, Piraeus is also in the process of implementing Fiserv Universal Banking in Egypt and planning for deployment in a third country.
