CheckPlus 5.0: Three-for-All
Boulder, Colo.-based Parascript has launched CheckPlus 5.0, which combines check processing, forms processing and fraud detection capabilities. CheckPlus 5.0 can process a form and a check together without having to send them to separate departments, says the company. The solution processes the full stream of documents for proof of deposit and remittance applications, and also detects forgeries with an Intelligent Recognition verification capability.
Wausau Processes Paper and Images
Wausau (Mosinee, Wis.) has unveiled its new ATM Network Deposit Management solution. The solution allows ATM network deployers to process ATM paper- and image-based transactions through the same system and generate common reports, customer error notifications, common audit trails and balancing procedures. As a result, says Wausau, processing time is reduced.
Mobile Recovery Units
N/Frame (Carmel, Ind.) has partnered with Agility Recovery Solutions (Charlotte, N.C.) to offer mobile recovery units for financial institutions in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Kentucky that would have bank branches up and running within 48 hours of an emergency, according to the vendors. The units have generator-produced power, satellite communications, Internet access, computer equipment and bank features such as teller windows.
