Infonox Enables Self-Service
Infonox (San Francisco) introduced the ActiveKiosk Suite, a hardware- and operating system-independent solution that enables the purchase of financial and nonfinancial services at self-service kiosks. It includes a library of financial products for retail and bank lobbies, and interfaces to existing card and EFT payment infrastructures, Infonox says. Deployers can co-brand, integrate and select service menus.
Tideway Supports IT Resilience
London-based Tideway Systems released Tideway Foundation 5.7, a resiliency reporting solution that detects IT outages. Version 5.7 allows users to recognize server/switch port speed mismatches, is designed to add more flexibility to the reporting engine for easier production of custom reports, and aims to simplify deployment and improve security and scalability in very large IT environments, according to Tideway.
SAS Tackles Money Laundering
Business intelligence solutions provider SAS (Cary, N.C.) released SAS Money Laundering Detection, a solution that caters specifically to smaller financial institutions. According to SAS, the solution combines all the protections afforded to its larger customers in its enterprise edition of the software, but scaled down. The product includes data management tools, an alert engine, basic reporting functionality, transaction monitoring, analytics and administration.
