ShenZhen Rural Commercial Bank (SRCB), China, has contracted to implement Fiserv International Comprehensive Banking System (ICBS) through Fiserv partner Digital China.

The bank is based in a city with one of the most successful Special Economic Zones in China and has 200 branches and more than 7 million accounts.

SRCB selected Fiserv because it felt the company's offering met its requirements for a Chinese-tailored solution can provide the bank with fast time-to-market for its products and services.

"The combination of the local knowledge and expertise provided by Digital China and the banking and technology guidance of Fiserv will be conveyed in the ongoing success of ShenZhen Bank," said David Hamilton-Matthews, managing director, Fiserv Asia-Pacific, in a release.
