Banks Roll Out Online Software

E*Trade Bank, Washington Mutual, First Citizen's Bank and GMAC Bank deploy Consumer e-Finance Suite from Financial Fusion to create next-generation online banking channels.

E*Trade Bank, Washington Mutual, First Citizen's Bank and GMAC Bank have all deployed Consumer e-Finance Suite from Financial Fusion to create next-generation online banking channels, according to the Boston-based financial software company.

The banks selected the Financial Fusion Suite-which includes banking and bill payment, customer care, account aggregation and connectivity to the bank's back-end systems-in order to grow volume and functionality for online delivery.

Designed to replace early generation online banking solutions software, Consumer e-Finance Suite facilitates the consumer's understanding of online banking products and services.

It also provides the financial institution with the flexibility to continuously improve and integrate solutions to accommodate future product and service developments.

"Online delivery channels for retail banking have clearly progressed to become one of the most essential components of a bank's overall corporate strategy," according to Michon Schenck, president and COO at Financial Fusion.
