FINRA Tabs Citi's Randich as New CIO
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced that it has named Citi's Steven Randich as its new CIO.
Randich currently serves as the co-CIO of Citi, and will begin his new post at the regulatory body on March 11. Randich will oversee technology at FINRA, as well as having responsibility over FINRA's Registration and Disclosure division.
Randich has been with Citi for the past seven years, most recently in the role of CIO and global head of technology for the bank's Institutional Clients Group. Before joining Citigroup, Randich was employed at NASDAQ as EVP, Operations and Technology and CIO.
"Throughout his career, Steve has combined superb leadership and technological skills with strong market and industry knowledge to earn a terrific reputation for working with business clients to identify and respond to priority technology issues," FINRA Chairman and CEO Richard Ketchum said in a statement. "Together, these strengths make Steve ideally qualified to lead our technology team on our many important initiatives."
