Jerry Silva To Lead Global Retail Banking Practice At IDC Financial Insights
Financial technology industry veteran Jerry Silva is joining is joining Framingham, Mass.-based analyst firm IDC Financial Insights as Research Director. Silva will be responsible for the firm's global retail banking practice. His research will cover a range of topics, including the back office, customer channels, and governance in the technology shops at financial institutions.

With more than 25 years of experience, Silva has held a variety of operational, technological, and business roles at institutions and technology providers. Before joining IDC Financial Insights, he founded and was Principal of PG Silva Consulting, specializing in the development, marketing, sales, acquisition and deployment of technology in global financial services. Before that he was head of product strategy for S1. Prior to S1, Silva was Research Director at TowerGroup, managing the retail banking, delivery channel, and payments practices.
