Jack Henry Announces Mobile RDC Service
Financial services technology provider Jack Henry & Associates announced it is now offering mobile remote deposit capture for its goDough mobile banking solution. The mobile RDC feature will initially be available for Android and iPhone versions of the mobile app.
Approximately 610 banks and credit unions currently use goDough, and it is currently supporting 99 mobile service carriers, according to the company. It supports traditional in-branch and online transactions including balance inquiries, funds transfers between accounts, and transaction viewing.
Financial institutions implementing Jack Henry's mobile remote deposit solution must have the goDough iPhone app version 2.7.5 or newer and the goDough Android 2.0 version or newer, the company said.
"Mobile banking is a strategic service that financial institutions must offer to attract and retain tech-savvy consumers in today's highly competitive financial services industry," said Tony Wormington, president of Jack Henry & Associates, in a statement. "Remote deposit functionality is a high-demand extension of mobile banking that we are uniquely positioned to deliver by integrating two market-leading solutions."
