Firethorn Mobile Banking Now Available on MetroPCS

Firethorn's mobile banking application is now available on the MetroPCS Communications cell phone network.

The mobile banking platform from Atlanta-based Firethorn, a Qualcomm company, will be enabled on all MetroPCS phones, making m-banking services available to those cell phone customers who bank with any of Firethorn's banking partners. Included in the Firethorn network are US Bank, BancorpSouth, SunTrust, Regions, USAA and Arvest Bank, to name a few.

Firethorn's Mobile Banking platform can now be downloaded for free by MetroPCS customers from the @Metro store. Consumers will be able to view their bank and credit card balances and history, make transfers between their accounts, and pay their bills securely from their mobile phones using a single PIN. They can also check rewards information and review targeted, timely offers from their financial institutions as part of the application's evolving mobile commerce capabilities.
