ClairMail Extends Reach With Misys Deal

Mobile banking and payments solutions company ClairMail (Novato, Calif.) entered a strategic partnership with application software and services company Misys (London). The deal will extend ClairMail's mobile banking reach across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Misys, which has more than 1200 financial services customers, will integrate ClairMail's mobile banking and payment platform into its own offering and market it as an addition to its Misys Mobile solution. Misys Mobile is a component of the Misys portal platform, which includes front-office applications for teller, Internet banking and call center services.

Through integration with ClairMail's platform, Misys Mobile will provide its bank customers with a flexible, integrated solution that offers all three modes of mobile banking—SMS, mobile web and ClairMail's Smart Client application—in a single package. ClairMail and Misys have developed pre-packaged modules that are integrated with a range of Mysis core banking services including Misys Midas Plus, Misys Equation, Misys Bankmaster and Misys BankFusion Universal Banking.
