Citi Unveils Upgraded iPad App
Citibank this week launched an upgrade to its iPad app, making it available to its credit card customers for the first time.
Citi said the upgrade will bring the graphs and visual banking tools currently available for consumer banking accounts using the iPad app to its 20 million credit card customers.
"Based on the extremely positive feedback about Citibank for iPad from our bank customers and their extensive use of the app's unique account analysis tools, we set out to offer credit card customers that same advanced access to mobile financial management, and now we have,” said Tracey Weber, Head of Internet and Mobile Banking, North America Consumer Banking, Citi, in a statement.
Consumer banking customers will also see improvements in this upgraded version of the app, the bank said, such as the ability to see front-and-back images of checks. For first-time users, it also includes tutorials and a video with an overview of the app's capabilities. The latest release also enables users to share articles and other app content via social media and email, according to Citi.
