Capital One Launches Mobile RDC for Commercial Customers
Capital One today announced it has released a mobile RDC solution for commercial customers.
The new tool is integrated with Capital One’s existing remote deposit service and works with iPhone and Android devices.
The bank's commercial customers can contact a Capital One treasury management sales advisor to sign up for the service and download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. A check must be photographed on the front and back and endorsed to be deposited.
Capital One said several of its commercial customers piloted the service prior to launch.
“As more and more businesses are relying on mobile technology to manage business activities we find ourselves engaging with them in new and different ways,” said Colleen Taylor, EVP and head of treasury management and enterprise payments at Capital One in a statement. “This new, easy-to-use tool will give our customers the ability to deposit checks on-the-go through a secure network, saving our clients time and money by eliminating trips to the bank and virtually bringing a teller window into the palm of their hand.”
