Broadridge, Zumbox Partner on Digital Customer Communications
Broadridge Financial Solutions, a provider of technology communications solutions for financial firms, announced a strategic partnership with digital postal mail provider Zumbox to service financial institutions looking to reduce paper-based communications cost.
Under the agreement, Broadridge is adding Zumbox' Digital Postal Mail service to its Broadridge Fluent communications exchange service that centrally manages communications across different channels.
The Digital Postal Mail service provides customers with a free, cloud-based mailbox linked to their residential street address and delivers exact facsimiles of paper mail, the company said, allowing people to receive, view, archive, and search through their digital post in a single, secure online environment.
According to Broadridge, financial services firms spend about $20 billion annually on printing and distribution of paper-based communications. The company said that, on an average per unit basis, digital mail costs less than half as much as a paper-based mailing.
