** BB&T Picks SAS for Risk

Expanding a long-standing relationship, Winston-Salem, N.C.-based BB&T selected SAS' (Cary, N.C.) credit risk management solution to enhance portfolio and predictive modeling capabilities.

** First Citizens Selects NCR

Raleigh, N.C.-based First Citizens Bank entered into a five-year ATM agreement with NCR (Dayton, Ohio) that establishes NCR's multivendor software APTRA Edge as the bank's platform of choice.

** Northern Trust Provides Trust Services

Northern Trust (Chicago) will provide correspondent services, including the Trust/Rite trust accounting system, to First National Bank of Bryan (Texas) and Lakeville, Conn.-based Salisbury Bank and Trust.

** Associated Renews With First Data

Associated Banc (Green Bay) renewed its agreement for processing services with First Data (Denver). The deal covers cards, statement printing and fraud monitoring.

** INTRUST, Metavante Deal

INTRUST Bank (Wichita) expanded its relationship with Metavante (Milwaukee), a subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corp., to include investment and trust technology, and full trust operations outsourcing through Marshall & Ilsley Trust.

** LaSalle, DI Extend Deal

ABN AMRO (Amsterdam), parent company of LaSalle Bank (Chicago), and Digital Insight (Calabasas, Calif.) will extend their preferred partner agreement through 2010. LaSalle Bank will continue to use Digital Insight Professional Services for developing product features and functionality online.

** Pacific National Bank Relies on Experian

Pacific National Bank (Miami) selected the ASSIST//ck software from Experian (Costa Mesa, Calif.) to prevent money laundering activities and comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

** JHA Banks on RSA

Jack Henry & Associates (Monett, Mo.) will roll out Bedford, Mass.-based RSACyota's Adaptive Authentication technology, an integrated fraud detection/prevention system that analyzes online transactions and scores the potential fraud, to its bank clients.

** Georgian Bank Inks Deal With Harland Financial

Georgian Bank (Atlanta) inked a deal with Harland Financial Solutions (Atlanta) for core processing using Harland's Phoenix solution, item processing and loan origination, among other services.
