Riksbank Replaces RTGS

Sweden's central bank, Sveriges Riksbank, will replace its in-house-developed real-time gross settlement system (RTGS). The new large-value payment system will use software from Perago Financial Systems Enablers (Johannesburg), and will be delivered and implemented by SIA (Milan).

U.S. Bank Gets Analytical

U.S. Bank (Minneapolis) selected Minneapolis-based Fair Isaac's Strategy Science analytics to optimize its credit line strategies. Risk managers will be able to simulate the impact of business decisions.

Toyota Leases With SAP

Toyota Financial Services (Phoenix) has selected SAP's (Newtown Square, Pa.) leasing and loan management applications for its commercial finance group.

First Keystone Calls ET

Media, Pa.-based First Keystone Bank selected Olympia, Wash.-based Enhanced Technology Financial Services for its credit decisioning and loan servicing for installment consumer loans and home equity lines of credit.

Chang Hwa Selects Todos

Chang Hwa Commercial Bank (Taiwan) will deploy one-time password authentication using SMS via mobile phones and a PC smart-card reader, with technology from Todos Data System AB (Gothenburg, Sweden).


Union Bank of California (San Francisco) will support its domestic trade finance business using a hosted service from CGI-AMS (New York). The service includes workflow, imaging, in-sourcing capabilities, denied-party compliance and online reporting.

CS Selects Mantas

Zurich-based Credit Suisse selected Herndon, Va.-based Mantas' anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism funding systems to detect suspicious activity across the bank's lines of business.

BitPass and RBS Team

The Royal Bank of Scotland signed an agreement with BitPass (Menlo Park, Calif.) to offer automated foreign exchange management to international online content brands and portals. BitPass will use the RBS Fxmicropay service to aggregate, execute and settle transactions in more than 30 currencies.

KeyBank Issues PayPass

KeyBank (Cleveland) will be the first in the U.S. to offer its customers MasterCard PayPass debit cards equipped with a radio frequency chip to enable contactless payments. The bank will issue cards from Axalto (Austin, Texas) to all of its debit customers.

Fiserv + CoopDesarrollo

CoopDesarrollo, Mexico's sixth-largest credit union, will use core processing systems from Fiserv CBS Worldwide (Lake Mary, Fla.) for compliance with new regulations.
