Banknorth, (Portland, Maine) licensed Harland Financial Solutions' (Atlanta) Encore! suite of branch automation products and implementation and training services. With the implementation, all Banknorth locations will be on the same open system platform.

Community Credit Union (Plano, Texas) selected Fiserv CBS Worldwide (Lake Mary, Fla.) as its core processing partner. CCU also will enhance its image offering by licensing Nautilus from Fiserv's Imagesoft Technologies unit as its archive.

New Ocwen Facility

HSBC Brazil (HSBC global headquarters in London) will provide VASCO Data Security International's (Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.) Digipass GO3 user-authentication system to its business customers for use with its Connect Bank Internet application.

Wachovia Re-ups With USi

Wachovia Mortgage Corp. (Charlotte, N.C.) renewed its hosting contract with USi (Annapolis, Md.). The customized solution leverages USi's AppHost platform for the outsourced management and hosting of the Wachovia Mortgage Web site.

Midwest Trust/Metavante

Midwest Trust Co., headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., signed a long-term investment technology agreement with Metavante Corp. (Milwaukee), which will deliver trust processing services from its investment technology services division.

Fundtech Taps TFP

Fundtech (Jersey City, N.J.) will offer its PAYplus funds transfer product line with US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) entity data from TFP (Skokie, Ill.), a division of Thomson Media. TFP's data is used to screen payment transactions for possible OFAC violations.
