TD Bank Outsources TO IBM
TD Bank Financial Group (Toronto) recently outsourced its PC and network maintenance to IBM (Armonk, N.Y.) in a $543 million deal. IBM will manage and support 40,000 PCs and revamp the existing data network. With the arrangement, TD Bank will be able to devote more resources to develop new applications for financial products.

The solution provides organizations with e-mail delivery, policy management and sophisticated content control features needed to support regulatory compliance requirements.
Systems Union Acquires MIS AG
Systems Union Group plc (Miami) will acquire MIS AG (Newark, N.J.) which will operate as a subsidiary of Systems Union Group within a newly formed Business Intelligence Division. Systems Union has agreed to pay approximately US $40 million for MIS AG.
NYCE/Cardtronics PACT
NYCE Corp. (Montvale, N.J.) has continued to diversify its regional network participation through an agreement with Cardtronics, (Houston). Cardtronics signed a NYCE Banking Terminal Participant Agreement, adding its 12,000 ATMs to the network and providing access for 80 million NYCE cardholders to Cardtronics ATMs.
Siebel OKS Fair Isaac FOR UAN
Siebel (San Mateo, Calif.) recently validated Fair Isaac Corp. (San Diego), as a Universal Application Network (UAN). The validation of Fair Isaac's Blaze Advisor with UAN allows users to deliver enhanced service by building on the combined strength of Siebel Systems' applications and Fair Isaac's business rules platform for decision-making.
AIT Partners with Fiserv
AIT (Lake Mary, Fla.) and Fiserv CBS Worldwide (Brookfield, Wis.) have formed a new strategic partnership, expanding a relationship the two companies started in 1995. Under the terms of the partnership, Fiserv will adapt and integrate AIT's Portrait product into its marketing, sales and servicing solutions.
eFunds Acquires Oasis
Under a definitive agreement, eFunds Corp. (Scottsdale, Ariz.) will acquire the assets of Toronto-based Oasis Technology, Ltd. The total purchase price of approximately $28 million will be paid in cash. The acquisition will provide eFunds an immediate entry into new markets with an open solution platform and is expected to expand eFunds' domestic and international customer base.
