Wachovia uses networked storage plus data management software from EMC; Capital City Bank uses Series 2000 from Banklink; Fleet Bank installs Core that it co-developed with Carreker.

Wachovia, Charlotte, N.C., is using networked storage plus data management software from EMC, Hopkinton, Mass., to consolidate its IT platform with that of First Union, which it merged with last year. Separately, Wachovia will offer e-billing and online account management software from edocs, Boston, to its corporate customers.

Capital City Bank, Tallahassee, Fla., has used Series 2000, a treasury management system from Banklink, New York, to garner 35 new customers for its Web-based cash management service.

Fleet Bank, Boston, has installed Core, a check fraud detection system that it co-developed with Carreker, Dallas.

Bank of the Sierra, Porterville, Calif., has tapped MoneyLine Lending Services, Lake Forest, Calif., to host Sierra MortgageLine, an online mortgage origination service.

M&T Bank, Buffalo, N.Y., has upgraded to the latest version of Voyager, a Web banking platform from Corillian, Portland, Ore.

First National Bank of Olathe, Olathe, Kan., has selected Phoenix, a core processing system from London Bridge Group, Atlanta.

Sovereign Bank, Philadelphia, has licensed Web-based cash management software from Politzer & Haney, Boston.

Whitney National Bank, New Orleans, has tapped Fundtech, Jersey City, N.J., to provide hosted cash management services including balance reporting, funds transfers, ACH, check management and reporting.

JP Morgan Investor Services, New York, is operating Global Market Reference Data, a global repository enabling custody clients to access reference data for straight-through-processing.
