Alan was CTO for CA Technologies, guiding CA's technology vision and strategy. Prior to CA, Alan was Senior Vice President and CTO at Novell Inc., where he helped push the networking software vendor to more fully embracing open-source technology. Prior to Novell, Alan was CTO of Xerox.
