Jim Eckenrode is the Executive Director of the Deloitte Center for Financial Services (DCFS), where he is responsible for defining and guiding the marketplace positioning and development of the Center's eminence and key activities. The DCFS, which supports the firm's U.S. Financial Services practice, provides insight and research to help guide senior-level decision makers within banks, capital markets firms, mutual fund companies, private equity firms, hedge funds, insurance carriers and real estate organizations. Prior to joining Deloitte, Eckenrode served as the Banking Research Executive at TowerGroup, where he frequently wrote and spoke about technology architecture, customer experience, the future of banking, and overall trends and directions in financial services. He has been frequently quoted in major print and broadcast media and has also been a keynote speaker at major industry and technology conferences.
