U.S. Bank Rolls Out Customizable Small Business Card
Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank and Vistaprint have announced a partnership to introduce the Vistaprint Visa Business credit card. The new card lets Vistaprint's small business customers design and personalize their own card online, matching it to existing business marketing materials. Cardholders will also earn rewards for card purchases, as well as receive five percent discounts off selected product purchases at Vistaprint.com.
"By combining Vistaprint's custom graphic design expertise with our long standing experience as a credit card issuer, we've created a rewards card that puts Vistaprint's customers in control of how their card looks, plus maximizes the value of their card purchases," said John Owens, senior vice president of U.S. Bank retail payment solutions, in a statement. "This partnership also gives U.S. Bank the chance to explore other potential opportunities for customizable cards in the future."
Vistaprint's small business customers can design and apply for a credit card at Vistaprint.com and where applications are approved, U.S. Bank will print and deliver the customized cards. As part of the rewards program, cardholders will earn one point for each dollar of net purchases on the card and they can redeem points for merchandise, gift cards, travel or account statement credit. Vistaprint and U.S. Bank plan to launch a similar card for consumers later this year.
