The Huntington Nation Bank, a subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Inc., will begin to use ACI Proactive Risk Manager, created by ACI Worldwide, to help comply with recently enacted, anti-money laundering legislation.

The ACI Proactive Risk Manager has the ability to allow the bank to detect suspicious transactions so the account can be flagged and appropriate actions can be taken. The software now has improved analysis and review capabilities, which can expand the bank's fraud operations processing. The software also will allow analysts to process more suspicious alerts per hour.

"Keeping watch for fraudulent activity has always been a priority with Huntington--and our efforts are even more important in light of recent events," said Marilynn Wagner, senior vice president and director of corporate compliance for Huntington. "ACI's software will help us detect suspicious activity early so we can take necessary steps to stop it while protecting our legitimate customers."
