Watchfire's WebXM 4.0

Watchfire (Waltham, Mass.) introduced Watchfire WebXM 4.0, an online risk management platform that provides management of online security, privacy, accessibility, quality and regulatory compliance issues. The release features new Web application security testing and reporting capabilities, and an issue management engine designed to help enterprises implement and maintain Web compliance, according to Watchfire.

S1 Unveils Call Center App

S1 Corp. (Atlanta) unveiled an integrated call center solution, S1 Enterprise Banking Call Center, which is designed to enable banks to deepen relationships with customers. The product allows representatives to open or close accounts, check balances, transfer funds, order checks, update information or make stop payments. In addition, the solution supports CSR's efforts to up-sell and cross-sell with customizable scripts for sales pitches and lead capture and referral capabilities.

SecureLogix Releases ETM v. 5.0

SecureLogix (San Antonio, Texas) released version 5.0 of its ETM (Enterprise Telephony Management) System for securing enterprise voice networks. Version 5.0 includes new VoIP capabilities, including an application firewall and QoS/performance monitoring tools to help telecom managers address security threats and management challenges associated with the deployment of VoIP.

American Savings Bank Taps IBM

To improve productivity and customer service through information access, American Savings Bank (Honolulu) deployed more than 1,500 IBM (Armonk, N.Y.) ThinkPad notebooks and ThinkCentre desktops equipped with ThinkVantage Technologies. The bank deployed the desktops in all 65 branches and provided its sales force and executives with the notebooks.

American Marine Bank Relies on Farm9

American Marine Bank (Bainbridge Island, Wash.; $334 million in assets) expanded its use of Farm9's (Oakland) information security services to include the Farm9 Bank Security Compliance Package. The package includes around-the-clock network monitoring and regularly scheduled security testing and assessments. The bank relies on Farm9 to ensure regulatory compliance and customer privacy as it opens additional offices.

Raiffeisen Bank Implements Misys

The Savings Bank of Albania, recently taken over by Raiffeisen International and renamed Raiffeisen Bank (Warsaw, Poland), installed Misys' (London) core banking solution, Misys Midas, for its Albanian operations. The bank replaced its legacy system with the Misys solution to comply with western banking standards and upgrade security and integration capabilities. The bank already uses Misys Midas in nine international locations, including seven sites in Central and Eastern Europe.
