FIS Acquires Financial Services Consultancy Capco

Banking and payments provider FIS announced Thursday it had completed the acquisition of financial services business and technology consultancy Capco.

"Capco, with its strong brand and industry expertise, is an excellent addition to FIS' portfolio of services," said Frank Martire, president and chief executive officer, FIS. "We believe that our clients will benefit greatly from the expanded breadth of market expertise, technology solutions and strategic support resulting from this combination."

Capco has locations in the United States, Europe and India.
