Charter One Hires Gaines for Retail

Cleveland-based Charter One Financial, Inc., hired Andrew D. Gaines as vice president, retail development. Gaines will be responsible for acquiring or leasing real estate and designing and building new banking centers. He will also manage the bank's relationships with its retail in-store banking partners, including Starbucks, as well as seeking and developing new retail partnerships. Gaines joins Charter One from National Commerce Financial.
