Huntington Bank announced the hiring today of Paul Heller, formerly of JPMorgan Chase, as the bank's new chief technology and operations officer.

Huntington Bancshares Incorporated announced this morning the hiring of Paul Heller, a veteran of JPMorgan Chase, as the bank's new chief technology and Operations officer. Heller will be filling a new role at the bank, created to better leverage the strengths of the bank's information technology and operations teams, Maureen Brown, a spokesperson for Huntington Bank, said via email.

Heller worked at Chase for 16 years, starting out as the vice president of operations for card services, and later filling a variety of roles including chief technology officer for Chase's retail bank, corporate internet group and consumer bank. He was most recently working on the bank's digital banking and payments strategy. Before joining Chase Heller worked for Andersen Consulting, where he specialized in card processing.
