Electronification Is the Future

As an iconic 1960s movie noted, one word can indeed provide a vision for the future. In the film ("The Graduate"), that word was "plastics." Looking ahead to the future of payments processing, the one word that comes to mind is "electronification."

In the coming year, it is clear that electronification will be the path to payments prosperity for both corporates and financial institutions alike. Changes in payments rules and advances in image technology for payment processing will enable clients and banks to become more efficient in terms of managing working capital.

Without a doubt, technology will continue to be leveraged to provide a highly effective electronic means for corporates and financial institutions to process payments faster, more cheaply and easily, and with less risk than they do in most cases today.
