Finnish Bank Invests in Business Intelligence Software

Finnish supermarket bank S-Bank, a part of the S Group, has initiated a relationship with SAS, a provider of business analytics software.

"After two years of continuous growth since the launch of the S-Bank, we needed a strategic collaboration to manage data flows," said Pekka Ylihurula, managing director of S-Bank, in a statement.

According to Ylihurula, SAS will provide S-Bank with a solution commonly used in the Finnish banking market for data storage and management. The bank hopes the analytics software will help improve customer service and risk management.
