Whitefish Credit Union Selects Symitar as Core System

Whitefish Credit is set to implement Symitar's Episys solutions as its core technology platform.

Whitefish Credit Union Association (Whitefish, Mont.; $1.2 billion in assets) has decided to install Symitar's Episys core processing solution in-house, the vendor announced on Wednesday in a press release. A provider of core technology systems to credit unions, Symitar is a subsidiary of Monett, Mo.-based Jack Henry & Associates.

Whitefish will leverage the new core system to expand its service offerings. "For us to move forward, we knew that we needed a more robust system. Our credit union does not currently offer home banking or operate our own ATMs, and we want to do both. And we are confident in Symitar's ability to provide the necessary tools and technology," James Kenyon, CEO of Whitefish Credit Union, said in a press release.
