State Bank of Whittington to Outsource Core Banking to CSI

State Bank of Whittington in Whittington, Illinois, has decided to outsource its core banking processing to service bureau Computer Services, Inc.

The bank has used an in-house system for over 20 years, but it is eager to upgrade to CSI's core processing system. "The conversion from in-house processing to CSI's service bureau solution will allow us to concentrate on banking and apply our resources to serving customers rather than operating the in-house system," says Steve Owens, vice president at State Bank of Whittington.

"I firmly believe that virtually every product we have implemented through CSI is an improvement over our previous product offering," he says. "CSI will give us a competitive advantage by keeping our bank on the cutting edge of technology and provide us with the service and know-how to use that technology to the best of our ability."
