Warsaw-based Bank Amerykanski w Polsce S.A. (AmerBank) has licensed Sanchez Profile, an integrated banking platform from Sanchez Computer Associates. Specializing in financial products and services for corporate and private banking accounts, AmerBank will use Sanchez core banking applications for virtually all of its deposit and lending offerings.
An online, multicurrency core processing system, Profile supports real-time interfaces to third-party lending and payment systems and legacy system components. Each AmerBank branch will be networked to the bank's operations facility, using Sanchez Profile for Windows as the front-end customer-servicing platform. Other Sanchez products being employed are FMS (general ledger, financial reporting, and other financial management activities) and CRM (customer relationship management).
The Sanchez platform will allow AmerBank to provide clients with multicurrency services, and to realize cost and risk improvements, according to Waldemar Maj, management board member at AmerBank. "Since the outset of its operations, AmerBank has offered corporate clients and affluent individuals a wide variety of products in both PLN and foreign currencies."
AmerBank is the sixth bank in Poland to process its accounts on a Sanchez platform, said Frank Sanchez, CEO of Malvern, Pa.-based Sanchez Computer Associates.
AmerBank is licensing the Sanchez technology through ComputerLand, one of Sanchez's preferred service partners in the Polish financial services marketplace.
