OnBase Lands Key

New York-based Wolters Kluwer Financial Services acquired Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Entyre, a provider of Web-based compliance solutions, for Entyre's mortgage origination and closing software.

Visa Taps Ventus
Visa (San Francisco) selected Ventus Networks (Norwalk, Conn.) to provide high-speed wireless transport for emerging products and services. Ventus' software will enable remote financial devices as well as monitoring and maintenance management.

Avaya Connects ABN
Avaya (Basking Ridge, N.J.) signed a five-year global contract with ABN AMRO (Amsterdam) to support the bank's move to Internet Protocol telephony across 14 countries. Avaya will synchronize mobile phone and desk phone ringing, turn computers into office phones, and provide number portability.

HSBC Selects Pegasystems
HSBC (London) has selected Pegasystems (Cambridge, Mass.) as its global standard for business process management. Initial projects will include securities, Asia-Pacific retail lending, global payments and cash management.

Citi Gets AdviceAmerica
Citibank (New York) will replace its in-house financial planning application with AdviceAmerica's (Fremont, Calif.) AdvisorVision. Services include goal planning, estate planning and debt retirement apps.

AT&T Nets FNB-Omaha
First National Bank of Omaha (Omaha, Neb.) has signed a three-year contract with AT&T (Bedminster, N.J.). AT&T will provide an IP virtual private network to link more than 70 bank branches.
