Interstate Hires Digital

Digital Compliance, LLC, based in Billings, Mont., will now provide due diligence and compliance-related documentation on multiple technology service providers to First Interstate Bank (Billings).

VirtualBank/OpenNetwork

VirtualBank (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) will deliver secure internal and subscription-based .NET Web services by implementing OpenNetwork (Tampa) and Microsoft (Redmond, Wash.) identity management security solutions. OpenNetwork will secure VirtualBank's business-critical initiatives by implementing Microsoft technology.

DTCC Expands Network

Through an expanded and enhanced communications network called Securely Managed and Reliable Technology, or SMART, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (New York) will provide improved services to its customer base, including banks, broker/dealers, insurance carriers, mutual funds and financial planners.

East Carolina Bank Taps Sprint

The East Carolina Bank (ECB), headquartered in Englehard, N.C., recently signed a multi-year agreement with Sprint (Overland Park, Kan.) to place the telecom company's voice and data services for 20 locations onto a single network.

Juniper Bank Selects FLEXCUBE

Juniper Bank, (Wilmington, Del.) selected i-flex's (Long Beach, Calif.) flagship product FLEXCUBE to replace its core processing system for deposits and loans. Juniper is reportedly expecting a 50 percent savings on operating costs from the replacement of its current integrated banking platform with FLEXCUBE.

Woronoco picks Associated

To process mortgage loan applications for its customers, Woronoco Savings Bank (Westfield, Mass.) has implemented Middleburg Heights, Ohio-based Associated Software Consultants' Java-based loan origination system (LOS), PowerLender.

BOFA MB/FINANCIAL FUSION

Bank of America Military Bank (San Antonio)is now licensing Financial Fusion's (Concord, Mass.) Consumer Banking Solution, a fully integrated, multi-channel Web-based account and payment management system for retail banking.

Wachovia Selects Kenexa

Charlotte, N.C.-based Wachovia Corp. has chosen Kenexa's (Wayne, Pa.) Recruiter as its enterprise recruiting solution. Wachovia will install Kenexa Recruiter internally, rather than using the system's hosted delivery.

Bank of Hawaii Gets BISYS

Bank of Hawaii's (Honolulu) balance forward retirement plans are now being supported by BISYS' administrative and recordkeeping services. Based in New York, BISYS will service approximately 170 Bank of Hawaii balance forward plans and their more than 2,500 plan participants with a suite of services, including contribution processing, periodic account valuation, participant statement generation, sponsor reporting, non-discrimination and compliance testing, and distribution processing, according to BISYS.

JPMORGAN CHASE RENEWS PEGA

JPMorgan Chase (New York) renewed its license for Pegasystems' (Cambridge, Mass.) check exceptions processing product and funds transfer software.
