U.S. Bank Signs Up with Monitise Create To Upgrade Mobile Experience

U.S. Bank will be the first North American financial institution to collaborate with Monitise Create to enhance its mobile customer experience.

Monitise, a mobile money solutions provider, is expanding its Monitise Create mobile innovation and design service to North America, a statement released today by the company said. U.S. Bank will be the first North American bank to work with Monitise Create, with the goal of improving its mobile experience for credit card holders, according to the statement.

“It is clear that success in mobile requires constant innovation around the user experience as consumer demand ease-of-use and engaging experiences. We are partnering with Monitise Create to help us re-imagine the optimal user experience and believe implementing a highly differentiated mobile-first business and technology solution will provide us with a key competitive advantage,” Dominic Venturo, U.S. Bank’s chief innovation officer, said in the statement.

U.S. Bank recently tied with Chase for the highest score in Forrester’s mobile banking benchmark evaluation, which compared the mobile apps of the country’s top five banks. Forrester noted that U.S. Bank’s app earned the high score for its unique capabilities like mobile photo bill pay and the ability to send a P2P payment to an individual through the user’s contact list.
