Intrieve A Winner In Blue Grass State

First Federal Savings Bank of Frankfort contracts with Intrieve for core and item processing services.

Kentucky-based First Federal Savings Bank of Frankfort has contracted with Intrieve, a provider of outsourced technology solutions, for core and item processing services.

Intrieve's popularity among other banks in the region was a key factor in the decision, according to Don Jennings, executive vice president at First Federal Savings Bank of Frankfort. "We are impressed with, and encouraged by, the top-quality service Intrieve extends to its clients. They have shown us that all levels of the organization, from upper management to product specialists, are accessible and very knowledgeable about our business."

With $140 million in assets and three branch locations, First Federal is a traditional bank focused on serving the local community. The advanced reporting, branch automation and various management tools provided through Intrieve's Gem Solution will enable the bank to more effectively manage its operations and offer new services. Intrieve's item processing solution will simplify First Federal's procedures for check processing and retrieval and statement reconciliation, enabling the bank to provide customers with faster, easier access to account information.

Item processing services include automated exception processing, advanced imaging, check imaging and processing, inclearing processing, statement reconciliation and CD-ROM check imaging.

Traditional check processing and statement reconciliation are combined with advanced imaging technology, so that CD-ROM images of checks and other items can be provided to high-volume customers. When an investigation is necessary on a particular item, it can be completed via the Windows-based Intrieve system, accessible at each PC workstation.
