Conestoga Bank to Offer Mobile Deposit

Conestoga Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Conestoga Bancorp, Chester Springs, Pa., will soon start allowing customers to deposit checks via their camera-equipped smartphones, using J&B’s mobile transaction software and Mitek’s image capture and processing software. The bank expects to make the new service available in the fall.

J&B introduced its software-as-a-service mobile deposit solution in March. It combines Mitek’s mobile remote data capture application with J&B’s workflow, risk management and Check 21 clearing solutions.
