Chase Beefs-Up Android Mobile App Payments Capabilities

Chase Mobile 2.0 brings Chase Person-to-Person Quick Pay, credit and debit card rewards and Chase Blueprint. The bank also recently released J.P. Morgan Mobile for private banking customers.

JPMorgan Chase Bank's Android app got a couple updates over the weekend, including mobile Person-to-Person QuickPay, to bring it on par with its iPhone counterpart.

Along with the P2P payments feature, which enables email or mobile phone number-initiated payments, version 2.0 of Chase Mobile brings in the ability to edit and cancel payments, see credit card and debit card rewards information and Chase Blueprint. The previous version of Chase's Android app brought in Chase Quick Deposit remote deposit capture.

Chase also recently released J.P. Morgan Mobile, an app for its J.P. Morgan Private Banking clients. In addition to much of the same basic functionality as Chase Mobile, J.P. Morgan Mobile brings in access to investment account balances.

Both apps are available for download in Google's Android Market.
