U.S. Bank Contracts Vicor

U.S. Bank (Minneapolis) implemented a payments and documents automation system from Vicor (Richmond, Calif.) to support processing for an undisclosed government agency.

IBM and Fiserv in Australia

IBM's (Armonk, N.Y.) Global Services division signed a 12-year IT services contract to support Fiserv's (Brookfield, Wis.) launch of VIPRO, a check processing consortium including Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank and Westpac.

Wood CNB Deploys ATMs

Wood County National Bank (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) deployed image-enabled ATMs from Wausau Financial Systems (Mosinee, Wis.). The ATMs will validate checks, perform antifraud checks, display images to customers and provide proof of deposit receipts.

Synovus Picks Viewpointe

Synovus (Columbus, Ga.) will exchange check images through Viewpointe (Charlotte, N.C.), allowing Synovus to exchange images with Viewpointe's member banks while still maintaining its existing image archive environment.

Princeton Goes West

Bank of the West (San Jose, Calif.) selected Princeton eCom's solution for payments processing to power its online retail banking service.

Superior FCU Selects Symitar

Superior Federal Credit Union (Lima, Ohio) will use core processing systems from Symitar, as well as enterprisewide automation and intelligent document management from Synergy Group. Both Symitar and Synergy are Jack Henry (Monett, Mo.) subsidiaries.

Yodlee Gets PassMark

In a strategic alliance, PassMark (Redwood City, Calif.) will ensure that its two-factor authentication system works seamlessly with the online bill pay and personal financial management tools powered by Yodlee (Redwood City, Calif.).

DI and Metavante Team

Metavante (Milwaukee) will provide its electronic presentment and payment products to online banking provider Digital Insight (Calabasas, Calif.) in a strategic partnership running through 2010.

MasterCard Rewards GE

MasterCard (Purchase, N.Y.) affiliate MasterCard Advisors will provide global loyalty rewards to the Corporate Payment Services unit of GE Consumer Finance (Fairfield, Conn.), for its launch of a MasterCard-branded rewards program in Europe.

Standard Picks SunGard

Standard Bank Group (Johannesburg, South Africa) selected software from SunGard (Wayne, Pa.) for Basel II compliance and capital management. The solution will provide risk capital calculations for the bank's retail and wholesale portfolios.
