Experian Acquires Leads
Experian (Costa Mesa, Calif.) bought LowerMyBills.com, (Santa Monica, Calif.) an online mortgage lead generator and financial services advertiser, for $330 million, plus up to an additional $50 million based on performance goals. The purchase extends Experian's presence in the online, consumer-direct market.

JPMorgan Chase (New York) launched a multimillion dollar national advertising campaign to establish Chase, its consumer brand.The campaign was created by mcgarrybowen of New York.
RBS Secures Biopharma
Royal Bank of Scotland (Edinburgh) will provide electronic identity credentials to biopharmaceutical companies participating in the SAFE-BioPharma Association. Users will be able to digitally sign transactions and authenticate their identities.
Sky Selects AFS
Sky Bank (Bowling Green, Ohio) will use Advanced Financial Solutions (Oklahoma City) to consolidate its item processing, retail lockbox and wholesale lockbox applications.
Payment processing information will be consolidated into one suite.
Sun Uses IBM Servers
Sun National Bank (Vineland, N.J.) will consolidate its branch operations onto an IBM (Armonk, N.Y.) iSeries server.
Philly Signs Jack Henry
Philadelphia Federal Credit Union has selected Episys from the Symitar division of Jack Henry & Associates (Monette, Mo.) for enterprisewide automation, including core banking. Seven other credit unions also signed with Symitar during Q1 2005.
Corillian Buys InteliData
Corillian (Portland, Ore.) will acquire InteliData (Reston, Va.), a provider of online banking, bill payment and credit card solutions to banks, including Bank of America, Wachovia and others. Corillian will pay $4.5 million in cash and about $15 million in shares.
Chex Systems Gets NCPS
Chex Systems, a subsidiary of eFunds (Scottsdale, Ariz.), will acquire National Check Protection Services (Rockland, Mass.) and its affiliates for approximately $20 million. NCPS provides new account verification, employment screening and due diligence investigations.
Harland + Mortgagebot
Harland Financial Solutions' (Atlanta) INTERLINQ E3 loan production system will be integrated into Mortgagebot's (Cedarburg, Wis.) PowerSite online mortgage lending system. The companies' 75 mutual customers include Umpqua Bank (Portland, Ore.).
Mktg. Solutions for CTB
Citizens Trust Bank (Atlanta) will use CRM software from Marketing Solutions (Birmingham, Ala.). CTB also launched a new Web site.
